This letter was written to his relatives in Kenya after they attended his 2009 Inauguration.
Former President Obama’s father was born in K’Ogelo, Kenya. The London Daily Mail reported on March 2, 2009 that this letter was sent by President Obama to his family “Once they returned to Kenya”.
This letter was obtained by a direct relative, from the village of K’Ogelo.
