Group of six Civil War Period cutlery flatware consisting of a set of three knives and three forks with matching bone handles. While most Confederate and Union soldiers would have used a few pieces of cutlery at some point during the Civil War, it is most unusual to find a matching set such as this. The Civil War conflict was fought from 1861 to 1865 and remains the deadliest war in American history resulting in the estimated death of greater than 750,000 Confederate and Union soldiers. Framed.
