Albert Einstein typed this letter in German warning about Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in 1935. Einstein was famously opposed to the Nazi Party while they were rising to power in Germany, and was living abroad in the United States when they took control of the country. Einstein was intent on warning non-Jewish Americans about the true beliefs of the Nazi Party and raise the alarm on their activities. He also pushed United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt to take the Nazi Party seriously and convinced America to develop their own Nuclear program. This lot comes with the original letter, the signed and dated envelope it came in, and an English translation. The letter measures 8.5” x 11” and the envelope measures 6” x 3.5”. Very Good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
