Alan Walbridge Ladd was an American actor and producer. Ladd found success in film in the 1940s and early 1950s, particularly in Westerns, such as Shane, and in film noirs. He was often paired with Veronica Lake in noirish films, such as This Gun for Hire, The Glass Key, and The Blue Dahlia. Ladd has signed & inscribed this 8 x 10 photograph in vintage ballpoint pen. Fair condition. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. This lot comes with a letter from Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
