Aerosmith Joey Kramer "Rock Am Ring" German Music Festival Stage Used Custom Zildjian Drumstick (REAL)
Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer used this custom Zildjian drumstick on stage during Aerosmith's show at the Rock Am Ring music festival on May 21, 1994. The festival took place at the Nürburgring race track in Germany. This custom Joey Kramer "Get A Grip" Zildjian drumstick has been inscribed in black felt-tip marker with the date and venue of the concert, with the number 70,000 indicating those in attendance.
Kramer is credited with originating the name Aerosmith. In his memoir, Kramer revealed that he idly conceived the name Aerosmith while listening to Harry Nilsson's album Aerial Ballet in 1968, two years before the band was formed. Kramer insists that there is no connection between the name "Aerosmith" and Sinclair Lewis' novel Arrowsmith.
