Abraham Lincoln 1/19/1865 Signed Calling Card with "Send Him To His Mother" Inscription to John Quincy Adams.
Abraham Lincoln will forever be counted among the select few men to be considered the greatest Presidents in the history of the United States. Lincoln served during the most desperate times in our country's history and demonstrated wisdom and courage in the face of dire national events. His legacy is one of integrity, intelligence, and compassion.
This offered calling card, signed and inscribed by Lincoln with the date of Jan. 19, 1865, dates to just months before his tragic death in April 1865. This calling card signature illustrates Lincoln's caring nature, as the recipient was a teenage soldier, John Quincy Adams, encountered by Lincoln at a hospital in Washington, D.C.
