The names of twenty-three members of the World Champion New York Yankees are signed to this Official 1998 World Series baseball with many deemed to be clubhouse signatures including that of Derek Jeter. Among the signatures are Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neil, and Joe Girardi.
This was a record- setting team, amassing 114 season wins and going on to sweep the San Diego Padres in the 1998 World Series to win the first of three consecutive World Championships.
