1957 Show of Stars Original Concert Flyer
An original concert flyer for theNovember 19, 1957 "Show of Stars" at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, NY, boasting the apperances of Fats Domino, La Vern Baker, Frankie Lymon, Chuck Berry, the Everyly Brothers and more. It also lists "The Crickets" whose song "That'll Be The Day," sung by Buddy Holly, was popular at the time. The song has been released theMay, and was the band's first hit (the group would go on to be called "Buddy Holly and the Crickets." The back of the flyer features Jerry Lee Lewis who would also perform at these types of group shows, referring to his as "Sun Recording Star."
