This is Jimi Hendrix's original Hollywood Walk of Fame plaque that was awarded to the artist posthumously. The award was given to his father and marks the occasion of the placement of Jimi's star on November 21, 1991 at 6627 Hollywood Boulevard. Measures 10.5" x 16.5". Excellent condition. Included is a Hollywood Chamber of Commerce letter confirming the 1991 date of the presentation. Estimate $7,000-$9,000.
