This is Elvis Presley’s owned and worn black kenpo karate gi top. Elvis wore this karate gi with the IKKA karate patch featured prominently over the heart and several other kenpo patches, including a patch on the right shoulder area bearing the name embroidered “PRESLEY” when he would visit his good friend and karate teacher Ed Parker in California. Parker taught Elvis on and off for many years and even accompanied him on tour in order to protect him. Elvis gifted this karate gi to his good friend Parker and the gi comes with a letter of provenance from Parker on his official Kenpo Karate Association letterhead, as President. Very good condition. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity and a photograph of Elvis wearing a nearly identical gi.
