Michael Jordan arrived at the University of North Carolina in 1981 with high expectations while playing for legendary head coach Dean Smith. He quickly showed he was ready to lift his team and his own game to heights rarely before seen. He led the Tar Heels to the 1982 NCAA Championship over Georgetown with a game-winning jump shot as a freshman. His 13.4 points per game helped him earn ACC Freshman of the Year honors. He went on to spend two more seasons at UNC, both of those campaigns ending in him earning First Team All-America status. In his junior year, he won both the Naismith and the Wooden awards as College Player of the Year. He parlayed the success he had at UNC to the NBA, where he won six NBA Finals titles and earned the moniker of the Greatest of All Time. Jordan has autographed this North Carolina blue authentic Brand Jordan jersey in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process. The jersey is also signed by UNC head coach Dean Smith and UNC assistant coaches Roy Williams and Bill Guthridge. One of the only jerseys we have ever seen signed by Jordan and the coaches. Very good condition. Comes with a Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) hologram, a matching COA and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
