Tupac Shakur has handwritten this five-page passionate love letter to Simi from prison on five separate pages of 8 x 10.5 lined notebook paper in blue ballpoint pen. Written in September, 1995, Tupac had been corresponding with Simi for a few months after she first sent him a letter with her photo. Over the months his feelings grew more and more intense and this very intimate, heartfelt letter is evidence of his strong feeling for her. He writes, "I got your first letter and looked into the eyes of your first picture I knew then that I was in trouble. U.C., I cannot lie. I am a passionate man my heart has gotten me in trouble before. How else can I explain a marriage to a woman who I only knew for 8 months and then a divorce after only 4 months." He has signed the letter "Passionately, 2PAC" adding, "Thinkin of U" in red ballpoint pen. The letter is accompanied by the original 9.5 x 4 envelope hand addressed by Tupac, with his handwritten return address and inmate number. The envelope is post dated September 1, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™
