Johnny Cash 1970's stage and film worn black suit, made for him by the Eaves Costume Company, paired with a white ruffled shirt with black edging. Photos of Cash attending several events wearing this suit are included. The jacket has a velvet collar, which is very apparent in the photos and film. Most notably, he is seen in the movie "Ridin' The Rails" wearing the suit, of which a DVD of the film is also provided. Johnny Cash worn items are extremely collectible and owning a complete outfit would be a centerpiece of anyone's collection. Very good, vintage worn condition. In addition to the "Ridin' The Rails" DVD, this suit and shirt is accompanied by a letter of authenticity written on The Johnny & June Carter Cash International Fan Club letterhead dated May 20, 1980 congratulating the receiver on winning the shirt and suit in the "Artist Auction", and requesting payment, a letter of authenticity from Stephen Shutts, a collector and expert on Elvis Presley, Country Music and Rock and Roll. and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
