This is Elvis Presley’s owned and worn grey, double-breasted “Superfly” coat with black faux fur trim. This coat was typical of the dress he was inspired to wear after viewing the cult classic “Shaft.” The long, heavy wool coat features black faux fur buttons and wide lapels with black faux collar, and the faux fur covered buttons on the lapels too. The coat is trimmed at the bottom with the faux fur border. The interior label reads, “International Fashions” and “Martin Bernard Ltd.” Comes with letter of provenance from Harold Loyd, Elvis’ first cousin who worked at Graceland for many years.
