1949 Bowman #224 Satchell Paige rookie card graded a Good + 2.5 by SGC. Satchell Paige was one of the greatest players to ever pick up a baseball, and with renewed interest in baseball’s history Paige’s legacy has been revisited. While Paige never got to play in the MLB during his prime, if he had been born ten years later he surely would have had one of the most storied MLB careers ever. He eventually did get to play in the MLB when he was 42 and continued to play professionally until he turned 59.
