Tupac Shakur has handwritten this love letter and poem/song lyrics to Simi when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility on two pages of 8 x 10.5 lined notebook paper in black ballpoint and red ballpoint pen. Tupac and Simi had been corresponding for a few months after she initially wrote to him with her photo. Over the months their relationship ship deepened until Tupac was quite in love with her. Tupac has dated the letter Oct 2, 1995 and writes in large letters, "C U Soon! I should be out my Monday Oct 9 1995!" and signed it "Thinkin of U! 2PAC." He has included with his letter a poem or song lyrics that he has titled "Never Let U down", also writing, "Never Let U down" Written Exclusively 4 Simi July 26 1995". He wrote the poem/song lyrics earlier in the relationship and you can see that in in writing when he urges her to not hesitate to trust him even though she may not know what lies within his heart yet. He writes, "My wish is to burglarize what's in your heart (a drawing of a heart) and not what'z between your thighs." The envelope is post dated October 3, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
