26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt signed this handwritten note card dated September 4, 1911. Roosevelt served as President from 1901 to 1909 and was highly influential in both domestic and foreign policy, generally being considered one of the top five Presidents in American history by historians. Roosevelt rose to political prominence in the Spanish-American War. In 1906, he earned a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in negotiating a treaty to end the Russo-Japanese War and domestically he instituted the “Square Deal.” Good condition. Measures 4.25” x 3.5”.
