When Dick Taylor started “Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys” with Keith Richards and Mick Jagger - the band that would morph into “The Rolling Stones” - the only equipment they had was this amplifier and another, identical Selmer “Little Giant”, which was used by Keith & Mick. The “Little Giant” was used at rehearsals and at their very early, fledgling gigs, but it was very small and under-powered and was replaced as soon as possible by more powerful amplifiers.

This “Little Giant” has been in Dick Taylor’s possession since 1961 and was his first amplifier in “Little Boy Blue” and into his time with ”The Rolling Stones”. It went with him to “The Pretty Things” and has been used in countless live and studio situations over the years, and even their sessions at Abbey Road Studios for “S.F. Sorrow” in 1967, with Beatles engineer (and “The Pretty Things” producer) – Norman Smith. Own a piece of Rolling Stones history! From the Dick Taylor Collection. Dick Taylor was an early bassist for the Rolling Stones and was a part of their first recordings and live performances. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Dick Taylor and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
