Grammy Award winner Sting signed this "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" album jacket (missing vinyl) in blue sharpie pen. The former front man for the very popular rock group The Police, Sting developed his own highly successful solo career after the band broke up in 1985. Released that same year, Sting had begun work on "The Dream of the Blue Turtles" even before the Police were officially disbanded. This jazz infused album was considered by critics to be more mature and diverse than any of his previous work and it became a hit, with "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free," "Love Is the Seventh Wave" and "Fortress Around Your Heart" reaching the American Top Ten. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
