Rolling Stones Bill Wyman's owned and played DeArmond Ashbory bass guitar, serial number KC00127796. Blue finish with black hardware. The Ashbory bass was invented by Alun Ashworth-Jones and designed by Nigel Thornbury in 1985. Guild manufactured the original Ashbory bass in 1987, and later DeArmond offered this authorized version. The 18-inch fretless scale of the Ashbory made it easy to create the round tone of an upright bass. The guitar features a patented transducer and unique silicone rubber strings. With original gig bag case. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
