Robert Crumb R. Crumb & His Keep-on-Truckin' Orchestra Poster (Kitchen Sink Press/Krupp Comic Works, 1972).
Before the breakout of R. Crumb & His Cheap Suit Serenaders LP, the artist-musician and Underground Comix pioneer Robert Crumb (together with underground artist Robert Armstrong and friend Al Dodge) recorded an old fashion 78 rpm style record with 1920-style jazz song titles River Blues and Wisconsin Wiggles performing as R. Crumb & his Keep - on - Truckin' Orchestra.
This colorful poster published by the same publisher that handled many of his more subversive funny books features a Crumb cartoon of two dancers surmounting the song-titles promoting their new 78 RPM Phonograph Record. The publisher is the same company that handled many of Crumb's more subversive funnybooks.
Approximately 10.875 X 17.25 on heavy paper stock.
