Queen Signed First Pressing “A Night at the Opera" Album - Nicest Example Ever Offered For Auction (JSA & REAL).

All four original Queen band members have signed each corner of the front cover of their album "A Night at the Opera" in a black & green felt-tip marker. Signed by frontman Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor.

The album's first single "Bohemian Rhapsody" received Grammy Award nominations for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus and Best Arrangement for Voices. Also containing additional signature songs, "A Night at the Opera", has since been hailed as Queen's best album, and one of the greatest albums of all time. In 2020, Rolling Stone ranked it at number 128 on its list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2018.

Provenance: Signatures obtained directly by the consignor. He attended a record release party in Rhode Island for "A Night at the Opera" and snapped some pics from the event. These pictures are unreleased and come with the lot.

First pressing album, this is the nicest example we have ever offered for sale.

Very good condition.

Authentication: James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity, a Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
