This is Paul Stanley's stage used Steve Carr custom mirror guitar that he played on stage during the band's 2001 Farewell Tour when they were in performing on tour in Japan, March, 2001. Steve Carr was the guitar designer for KISS, and in addition to creating the band's stunning one-of-a-kind guitars, the band would often bring their guitars to him to be tweaked or fixed. Carr handmade this guitar for a one-time use by Paul Stanley, the design was hand-cut and the custom neck is in a custom font per Stanley's request. The guitar comes from the personal collection of Terry Nix, owner of Guitars of the Stars, who was partners with the late Steve Carr. Terry's experience with KISS and with Steve Carr is extensive and he has built up an extraordinary collection over the years. Paul Stanley is the rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the band, and is the writer or co-writer of many of the band's highest-charting hits. The guitar, which is fragile is accompanied by a soft Gibson case, very well worn with a piece of silver gaffer's tape attached to it that reads "SC-lass PS Mirror". Sold as is. Comes with a letter of provenance from Terry Nix and certification from Steve Carr and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
