Paul McCartney and George Martin Signed and Numbered “Yesterday" Lithograph (109/500).

Paul McCartney and George Martin signed and numbered “Yesterday" lithograph of his original handwritten and annotated musical score for The Beatles iconic song.

These lithographs were carefully created in 2004 to raise funds for rebuilding the island of Montserrat after a volcano, which was where George Martin had his recording studio. The paper stock used for this piece was taken from the original stock used when the original was composed. Yesterday was the first time, of many to follow, where a string ensemble was used on a Beatles recording. Paul helped George Martin with the composition and Paul originally added Mozart as a composer at the top of the lithograph as a bit of cheeky humor.'

Numbered 109/500.

Signed in pencil, measures 20 x 14. Framed to measure 28.5 x 35.

Very good condition.

Authentication: Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
