In 1988, Susie Davis was hired by Mick Jagger to join his band for a solo tour of Australia, New Zealand and Java. The tour management team was Alan and Arnold Dunn, long time employees of the Stones. Each day they would slip a carefully written summary of the next day’s events under our door, and as well as being incredibly on-top of all the moving pieces of the tour, they took the time to include off-color humor, acerbic asides and eclectic quotes in the handouts. They were so fun to read! The rehearsals and tour lasted from Aug 24 through Nov 6. This is a complete set of Tour handouts from August 24th-November 6th. From the collection of Susie Davis. Davis was the former keyboard player for Sheila E and has toured with legendary artists such as Prince, Mick Jagger, Sheila E, Billy Idol, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor, and many others.
