These vintage black leather speed/body bag boxing gloves were issued to the set of "Raging Bull" to be used by actor Robert De Niro as his character Jake La Motta in the acclaimed film. According to the letter that accompanies the gloves, they were used in the film's training scenes and were obtained by the prop master from the set and were stores for over twenty years in the Studio Archives. The gloves are housed in a shadow box frame with an 8 x 10 photograph signed and inscrbed by Robert De Niro. Housed in a shadow box framed display to measure 21 x 3.5 x 17.5. Very good, vintage condition. Comes with a notarized letter of authenticity from Hollywood Prop Supply, a PSA/DNA Letter of Grading Authenticity and a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity for the De Niro signed photograph, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
