Joan Baez owned and worn silver and turquoise cuff bracelet. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May of 2018. Pate was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. During his career, Pate, and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Pate knew Joan Baez, they met several times and Pate booked and promoted a few of her shows. During one of their meetings Pate told Baez about his collection and she then gifted him a few items for his collection, including this bracelet. The bracelet has been in the Pate collection since that time. In very good condition, the bracelet comes with a letter from Pate's widow, Clarine Pateon PBA Pate Booking Agency letterhead, stating that the bracelet was owned and worn by Joan Baez, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
