A boiler suit and cap which were work by extras for the music video for AC/DC’s 1991 ‘Are You Ready’. The cap has been signed by each member of the group. Brian Johnson has signed in blue pen, Angus Young has signed in red pen, Malcolm Young and Cliff Williams have signed in black marker pen and Chris Slade has signed in blue pen. It comes with a letter from the original owner which reads, ‘I received the boiler suit and cap as video props for the shooting of ‘Are You Ready’ from the ‘Razors Edge’ album released in 1990. I had tickets to see AC/DC at Wembley in April 1991 and my dad saw an advert in his daily newspaper, the Telegraph, offering fans who had tickets to take part in a video shoot as an extra. The local events shop in Peterborough at the time was Steve Jason Events in the Old Still arcade. We were given tickets to show on arrival at the bus station in Leicester but the location of the shoot was secret. We ended up in Windsor, Berkshire and handed our suits and caps. It was the best day jumping up and down recorded for the video to be released on 28/3/91. There were what seemed like hundreds of takes and during one of the breaks we were moved from the front of the stage to the side walkways next to the stage. Then Brian Johnson came over and I asked him to sign my cap, which he did, and took it over to the other band members to sign for me. The whole experience was amazing and to see myself in an AC/DC video is one of the best highlights of my life. We went on to see the concert at Wembley and were given back stage passes but we had no money for a train and the bus tour wouldn’t wait for us. So, we gave them to 3 lads from Glasgow who had been to every performance on the UK tour. Couldn’t have given them to a better group of fans.’ There is some staining to the cap and boiler suit. The overall is very good. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
