Robert F. Kennedy signed this letter and accompanying envelope with a blue pen. The letter is dated March 19, 1968, and expresses his condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Monk about the death of their son. Kennedy was one of the prominent members of the esteemed Kennedy politically family, that included his brother and United States President John F. Kennedy. He served as U.S. Attorney General under JFK and Lyndon B. Johnson and then as U.S. Senator out of New York State until his assassination on June 6, 1968, at the age of 42. Very Good condition. Envelope measures 4.25” x 6.5” and letter measures 6” x 8”. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Letter of Authenticity.
