American entrepreneur and business magnate John D. Rockefeller signed this letter using a black steel-tip fountain pen. The letter, which is dated July 7, 1921, is written to Dorothy F. Keith and was sent from his Pocantico, New York home. Rockefeller is considered to be the richest man in modern history and the richest American of all time, amassing his enormous wealth in the oil industry. He was also a renowned philanthropist, founding several different universities such as University of Chicago and Rockefeller University. Good condition. Measures 5.75” x 7.75”.
