Bold signature cut of Robert Todd Lincoln, the eldest son of President Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln signed in dip pen. A Harvard graduate, Lincoln served on the staff of General Ulysses S. Grant as a Captain of the Union Army towards the end of the Civil War. In public service, Lincoln served as United States Secretary of War in the administration of Chester A. Arthur and as United States Minister to the United Kingdom in the administration of Benjamin Harrison. Lincoln was the only one of the four Lincoln children that lived into adulthood (d. 1926). Signature mounted to paper with a total size of 4.125 X 1.5. Very good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
