This is a 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair three-day full ticket. The green paper ticket is divided into three sections, each with a red symbol printed, that would be taken for each of the three days of the music festival on August 15, 16, and 17, 1969. Billed as "an Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music," the festival at Max Yasgur's dairy farm in Bethel, New York — 40 miles southwest of Woodstock — attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Woodstock has become widely regarded as a pivotal moment in popular music history as well as a defining event for the counterculture generation. Among the 32 musical acts that performed at Woodstock that weekend were Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Sly & The Family Stone, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Blood Sweat & Tears, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Band and Jefferson Airplane.
