This trophy was created by Major League Baseball for a ceremony to honor Joe DiMaggio’s achievement incredible hitting streak achievement. The memento weighs a robust 20.25 pounds and stands nearly 12" tall. A curved stand features "Baseball's Memorable Moments" engraved and holds a baseball in-place at its apex. The base has the following administered to a placard: "Joe DiMaggio’s 56-consecutive game hitting streak. May 15-July 16, 1941." Overall, an impressive trophy made for one of Baseball’s most memorable players. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
