German-American artist Peter Max signed this 1999 promotional poster for his “New Moon II” series in 2005 using a black felt-tip pen. The signature comes with the inscription, “To Bill, all the best.” Max was one of the premiere names in the Pop Art and Psychedelic Art movements that dominated the 1960s. His work was highly influential on The Beatles “Yellow Submarine” aesthetic, and he continues to make his counterculture and neo-expressionism works to this day. The poster is in Good condition, with some edge and corner wear. The poster measures 40.5” x 27” in its frame, and 36” x 27” without the frame. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
