James Taylor original Jack Robinson special edition gelatin silver photograph. Singer-songwriter James Taylor has been photographed in May, 1969. Only 21 at the time, Taylor had released his first album the previous December on Apple Records at Trident Studios while the Beatles were recording The White Album. Paul McCartney played bass and George Harrison sang background vocal on the James Taylor's song "Carolina in My Mind". In 1970 Taylor would release his huge hit album "Sweet Baby James". The photograph was hand-printed from Jack Robinson’s original negative in 2000 at the Jack Robinson Archive and Gallery darkroom in Memphis, TN and is hand-stamped on the verso. Measures 18.5 x 24. Very good condition. Comes with an embossed and stamped first edition book on Jack Robinson published in 2011 by Palazzo Editions in England. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
