A Tie-Dye T-Shirt owned and worn by the legendary Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen. The shirt was worn throughout Def Leppard’s prime years in the 1980s on stage. More importantly, featured in a Def Leppard photoshoot. It was one of Rick's favorite t-shirts which he used to like to wear at home too. From the collection of Miriam Barendsen. Partial proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated to the Baladi Foundation, the foundation was co-founded by Miriam Barendsen, Rick Allen's girlfriend throughout the 1980's, who was in the car with Rick when the tragic accident occurred resulting in the amputation of his arm. The funds raised by the Baladi Foundation are used in many ways to help the vulnerable Baladi animals in Egypt, mainly in the big cities of Cairo. These dogs are so kind. It is incredible what a pain they have to go through. There is a desperate need for food, financial support for on-the-ground organizations and other volunteers, sterilization (spaying and neutering), veterinary care, adoption and fostering.
