MacArthur was the Supreme Allied Commander in Japan, achieving the rank of Five-Star General. MacArthur received the Medal of Honor for his service during the Philippines Campaign which made him and his father Arthur MacArthur, Jr. the first father and son to be awarded the medal. 8 X 10.5.
