Astronaut Sally Ride has signed and personalized this original NASA photograph picturing her NASA training in 1983 aboard a T-38 jet aircraft at NASA’s Houston facility days before becoming the first American woman in space flying aboard the Challenger Space Shuttle in June, 1983 and again flying aboard the Challenger in October 1984 as part of the first crew to include two women in space. Ride was the only individual to participate in the later investigations into the 1986 Challenger disaster and 2003 Columbia Space Shuttle disasters. Comes with James Spence Authentication (JSA) and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
