This circa 1930 BAMBINO tobacco tin is a classic example of one of the most desirable baseball themed tobacco tins sought by baseball, Babe Ruth and tobacco collectors alike. Featuring the silhouette likeness of the Great Bambino himself, Babe Ruth poised with a baseball bat in his mighty swing pose, the colorful tin stands 4.5” tall. The back of the tin reveals the details of its’ manufacturer Bailey Bros., Inc. of Winston-Salem, NC and the design of a baseball labeled Bambino Smoking Tobacco. No doubt, Babe Ruth was one of the biggest commercial draws of his era striking a home run relationship between the popular pastime of pipe smoking and his own popularity as the baseball standout in America’s Favorite Pastime. Good condition with noticeable rust and wear adds to the charm of this near 100 year-old relic. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
