The Who's Pete Townshend has signed his "Who I Am" memoir on the title page in black sharpie pen. Townshend is co-founder, leader, principal songwriter, guitarist and secondary lead vocalist of The Who, which is considered to be one of the most important and influential rock bands of the 20th century. "Who I Am" was published by Harper Collins in October 2012. The book chronicles Townshend's upbringing in London, the formation and evolution of the Who, and his struggles with rock stardom, drugs and alcohol. The title is a play on words, referring to the Who's hit single, "Who Are You" as well as the album of the same name. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
