Dubbed the “Fight of the Century,” this is a large souvenir poster designed by renowned sports artis LeRoy Neiman from the March 8, 1971 Muhammad Ali versus Joe Frazier fight at Madison Square Garden. Frazier knocked Ali down in the final round en route to winning a unanimous 15-round decision in what many consider to be the greatest fight of his career. At the time of the fight, Frazier was 26-0 with 23 KOs and Ali was 31-0 with 25 KOs. It was the first fight that two undefeated boxers fought each other for the heavyweight title. It is widely regarded as the biggest, most anticipated fight in boxing history. The poster is framed with signs of moisture damage near the bottom of the poster beneath the glass. Framed 27 X 40. Fair condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
