Former St. Louis Cardinal legend, Curt Flood signed this baseball. Over his 15 year career, Flood was a 3x All-Star, 2x World Series champion and 7x Gold Glove winner. He retired playing the third most games at Center Field of all time. Flood became a seminal figure in the sport's labor movement after he famously rejected a trade following the 1969 season. The case eventually made its way to the Supreme Court where his legal challenge ultimately failed. Despite his failed attempt, Flood's challenge shined a light on baseball's free agency and reserve clauses, which ultimately led to some amendments. Good condition.
