Years before being banned for his role in throwing the 1919 World Series, Buck Weaver played one season with the San Francisco Seals of the PCL, accumulating a .282 batting average with 9 home runs in 674 at bats. The card remains tremendously desirable today, due to its scarcity as well as due to the popularity of Black Sox players in general among today's hobbyists. One of the most desirable subjects involved with the scandal, Weaver's PCL cards remain tremendously valuable and highly sought-after, none more so than his attractive 1911 Zeenut. This card carries significant collector demand, such that examples do not make themselves available for public sale very often, seemingly driving up the price with each sale. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
