Spice Girl “Sporty Spice” Melanie C (Melanie Jayne Chisholm) was supposed to wear this full set of boxing robes, featuring shorts, vest and ‘Rocky’ robe in the Spice World Movie. The set was custom made by Angel & Bonham's for Melanie C (Sporty Spice) to wear in the Spice World: The Movie when the girls all dressed up as different characters from history - Geri as wonder woman, Melanie C as Rocky, Emma As Calamity Jane. The footage of Melanie C dressed as ‘Rocky’ was edited out of the final film but the costume can be seen hanging in the movie and was also used in magazine & sticker shoots. Very good condition. From the SpiceUp Exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London, the costume comes with a letter of provenance, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
