President Harry Truman, the 33rd president of the United States has signed this mat board inscribed in calligraphy, “To Brig. Gen. Ames T. Brown, Adjutant General of New York, In appreciation of his help in the National Guard recruiting campaign” The 14 X 11 mat board is adorned with a handsome 9.25 X 7.25 original photograph of Truman seated at his desk. Truman is famous for putting the Marshall plan in place following World War II to rebuild Europe. Very good condition with a slight surface scrape on the board’s surface in the upper right-hand corner easily trimmed or framed out. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
