President Franklin D. Roosevelt has boldly signed this document dated February 26th 1936 appointing William J. Farley Director of Public Works in Connecticut. The document is also signed by the Secretary of State. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States and served from 1933 until his death in 1945. A member of the Democratic Party, he won a record of four presidential elections and became one of the most important figures for the first half of the 20th century. Roosevelt helped navigate the United states through the Great Depression, World War II and his social security program. Framed 26 X 22. Very good condition.
