This is the original New York State boxing license application of Livingstone Bramble dated “4/12/84,” in advance of his upset win against Boom Boom Mancini to win the WBA lightweight world title by a fourteenth round knockout in Buffalo, New York on June 1. The two-sided 8.5 X 11 application is filled out in his hand on the front in red pen and then on verso where he has also signed his name in black ballpoint pen. A small passport signed photo of Bramble is attached on front. Rare, historical artifact from a pivotal point in the career of this popular fighter.
