The Quartet of Milwaukee Braves Obliged the Photographer with this pre-game picture before June 3rd 1953 Game with the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field, Brooklyn, N.Y Shortly after this group pooled their batting strength to account for eight runs scored or driven in as the red-hot braves scored a 14 to 9 win over the Brooklyn club. From left to right are: Joe Adcock, First Baseman who contributed a double, and a single to drive in on Tally; Ed Mathews, Young third baseman competing for national League Home Run Honors, who homered with a mate aboard in he fifth, and then hit a run-producing single in the eight; Sid Gordon, Veteran Left Fielder, who contributed a single; and Andy Pako, Right Fielder, whose the hits included a home Run are seen smiling in this 9x7 photograph.
