Original twelve-page fight contract dated October 27th, 1920 between the Heavyweight Champion Jack Dempsey and French contender Georges Carpentier. Considered “The Fight of the Century”, The fight would take place in Jersey City on July 2nd, 1921 and was known as the first million-dollar gate. Dempsey would knock out Carpentier in the 4th round retaining his Championship. The contract is signed by both Dempsey and Carpentier as well as managers and promoters including Tex Rickard and Jack Kearns. Measures 8.5 x 11. Fair condition with some tearing.
