Handwritten signed letter from Clara Barton (1821-1912) the pioneering nurse who served during the Civil War and who founded the American Red Cross. Much of her life was devoted to doing humanitarian work and civil rights advocacy. 5 X 6.75. Light horizontal center fold-line and small staple holes upper left corner. Very good condition.
